Complete Dino Skull News

See below link to read new discovery: " The Tufts-Love skull is only one of 15 more-or-less complete skulls ever discovered. The Docent Roundtable's Annual June Luncheon 2016

On Monday, June 20, 2016. the Annual Docent's Roundtable Luncheon was held to honor Docents, New Docents, New Docents-in-Training, Staff, and Guests in the North American Mammal Hall 2.  In addition to the awarding of members with over 25 years of service, presenting the order of the Coelacanth, Volunteer Recognition awards and presentation of the 2016-2017 Docent Board, two very special events occurred.  One, Treasurer Marvin introduced, sang with and lunched with the San Fernando Valley Men's Choir.  Two, Vice President Karen was made an Honorary Docent.  Pictures of the event are below and videos of the choir will be included at a later date.  Also, feel free to send digital pictures that you took to Chuck.  You can also double click on the images below to enlarge: The San Fernando Valley Men's Chorus' sang many songs from Broadway plays and/or movies, many of which we easily recognized and one or two that were surprises.  Be sure to liste...

Our own Hummingbird's Nests

An acute observer has noticed and directed us to the lower north museum parking lot where we observed an inactive nest and a nest containing two young hummingbird chicks.  The mother was not around when the following pictures and video were taken: inactive nest The image below is a video:
