The Adamson House Docent Field Trip

On November 15, 2016 sixteen docents attended a special tour of the Adamson House in Malibu.  The first two items are videos of our guide, Glenn, on the history of the Rindge and Adamson families as well as that of Malibu.  Click on the arrows to begin viewing the videos and turn up your speakers.   Please stop the videos at the end because since the docent videos were loaded into You Tube, after the end of the Adamson video, the strangest YouTube video may surprise you.   The videos and following pictures can be enlarged by double clicking your mouse to enlarge the images:

Note:  The following represents 3 different reports reviewed by Mary so keep scrolling all the way down to the bottom to read the reports:                         The National docent symposium October 2-5 2011 Saint Louis, Missouri The theme: GATEWAY TO THE BEST! The docents from the Saint Louis Museum of Art hosted this year’s symposium. The entire 4 days were superbly organized and most enjoyable. The pre-symposium events, the opening events, the break out sessions, the offsite workshops, the pre and post tours, the food and the first class hotel (The Ritz Carlton) were outstanding!
