The docents from the Saint Louis Museum of Art hosted this year’s symposium. The entire 4 days were superbly organized and most enjoyable. The pre-symposium events, the opening events, the break out sessions, the offsite workshops, the pre and post tours, the food and the first class hotel (The Ritz Carlton) were outstanding! Due to the recent classification of docent volunteers into active and inactive volunteers and several active DRT members requesting and becoming emeritus, at the DRT meeting of March 28, 2022, after much discussion the DRT Board voted to dissolve the Docent Round Table as of July 1, 2023.
