DRT Behind the Scenes in Archaeology
Dr. Amy E. Gusick spoke to the docents April 17, 2018 on the study of human and prehistory with the following pictures provided by Mary Kuhl (Chuck was sick with a dreadful, lingering cold). Mary reported the docents did not get to go into the lab because Dr. Gusick said it is not ready for touring yet. She just joined NHM in January. Dr. Gusick discussed her excavations in the Channel Islande and study of Chumash people in the Northern Islands, & Tonga in Southern Islands (Early Halocene sites).
