The pictures below are images of the pages appearing in the December 14-20, 2013 edition of The Economist magazine as part of its Intelligent Life Features.  I found the article fascinating, particularly the pictures which belie the beautiful color our exhibit must have had at one time.  You can double click on the image to enlarge it and read the article.  

20 Docents, Tiffany and Liz attended the annual holiday party at Taix's French Restaurant on Sunset and Alvarado.  The menu included pot roast, chicken or sole in the Wine Room: Nancy Sue and Jim Barbara and Ralph Mary and Christy Connie, Veronica and Susan Barbara and Maria Jan and John Joyce and Sherry Liz and Tiffany Marvin and Nic Chuck and Connie Ralph and Bob    Chuck conveying best wishes from Pat Bauer and Beverly Shulman both of whom could not attend today's lunch   Ralph the Red Nosed .....
